With announcements yesterday from the Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews, all of Victoria has entered a 7 day lockdown as at 8:00pm Thursday the 5th of August. All Manningham Sporting and Recreation facilities are to be closed for organised sport and recreation for the duration of the lockdown period. All leased facilities; Tennis, Bowls, Hockey, Horse/Pony Clubs, Scouts, etc. must be closed to members and the general public during this time. Open space (unlocked spaces, ovals, athletics track, BMX track, park land and playgrounds) are still open to the community for walking, running etc. and non-organised activities as per current government requirements.

Exercise must be done within five kilometres of your home and limited to two people.

As a result of these restrictions, from 8:00pm Thursday the 5th of August in Manningham there will be:
• No access to pavilions in any circumstance
• No access to sports grounds and athletics tracks – through club or user group organised play, training or events including casual sporting-based activities, this includes personal training businesses
• No organised or casual training organised by user groups
• No organised gatherings of user groups
• No organised sport
• No access to any council buildings
• No social sporting-based activities
